Day 2: (Kampala - Murchison Falls)
Our Guide will pick you from your hotel/ lodge at 7.00 am after you have had you heartily breakfast. Begin the panoramic drive northwest passing through the famous Luwero Triangle with a brief stop over for lunch at Masindi hotel. You are on your way to Murchison Fall National park. Quite a long drive as you travel north through the Rwenzori’s and the evergreen tea estates but well worth it. Once you reach the Nile in the heart of the Park you will cross by ferry if you are going to sleep at Paraa Safari Lodge.

The sight of the Nile River, the world's longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable and marvellous. You may also drive to the park through the Budongo forest. Our action packed safari inside the park begins by driving straight to the top of the falls. Here you will marvel at the sight of the river Nile exploding violently as it compresses from 50 meters and squeezes through a narrow cleft of 6 meters and then plunging with a thunderous roar into a frothing pool 43 meters below creating a beautiful rainbow and a plume of spray. Winds up the day with an evening drive. An overnight at Paara Safari lodge or Nile Safari camp, Sambiya lodge,F/B.

Day 3:
After an early morning breakfast, go for a boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-metre gap, or down river to the delta where the Nile empties into Lake Albert. This is an experience not to be missed! The banks of the Nile are home to many species. You may see huge Nile Crocodiles, big Pods of Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to drink from the river, later return to the Lodge for lunch.
Then head for an early evening drive on to the rolling plains where you can view Buffalo, Lions, Hartebeest, Giraffe, and Elephant as well as many of the other mammals of the park. For the bird watchers, these areas support the Secretary Bird, Marshal Eagles, Black Chested Snake Eagle, Carmine Tawny and Swallow tailed Bee-Eaters, to mention just a few. This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savannah down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north to the Sudan. Overnight at either Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp (High), F/B.

Day4:
After breakfast enjoy your safari back to Kampala via Budongo forest with a stop over for lunch in Masindi. A safari to Murchison Falls national park is memorable worthwhile both in terms of time and money. Tomaz Safaris recommends it as a must have on your Ugandan Safari.
